Naturally Savvy's Nutritrion Tips For Weight Loss Naturally Savvy

The partcipants of The Naturally Savvy Weight Loss Challenge have all received a consultation from Lisa Tsakos, R.N.C.P, on HOW to lose weight in an efficient and healthy manner. For some natural products to assist with your weight loss, watch Part 1 of The Naturally Savvy Weight Loss Video.

Here are some informative nutritional tips for weight loss and overall health:

  • Eat Protein First – What you eat first sets the stage for your appetite for the entire day. Protein with breakfast stabilizes your blood sugar reducing cravings and giving you much more control over your appetite. Include at least 15 grams of protein with breakfast. It could take the form of a protein shake, an egg, a high protein cereal, some nuts in your cereal or nut butter on whole grain toast.
  • Create a weekly menu plan. Post it on the fridge. Make a grocery list based on your meal plan.
  • Eat Something Every 3 Hours – allowing too much time to pass between meals causes blood sugar to drop leading to overeating and cravings.
  • Strict Food Combining at Dinner – A combination of vegetables and protein at dinner and strict avoidance of starches and sugars about six hours before bed is the fastest way to lose weight. Starches and sugars that are not “burned off” by physical activity store as fat while you sleep. Restricting starchy carbs and sugars to earlier in the day promotes fast fat loss and a flatter belly.
  • Go Organic! Limiting toxin exposure will aid in weight loss. Naturally Savvy can help you get started.
  • Eat as much fiber as possible – fiber balances blood sugar and helps you feel satiated longer.
