Chia Seed Snowballs

This easy recipe is packed with healthy raw and vegan protein.  Feed these to your kids for a good after school snack, or eat them all yourself...your secret is safe with us! Chia seeds are being considered a super food now. Move over little planters, chia seeds are great to eat!

  • Ingredients
    • 1 cup peanut butter (preferably natural, without added sugar)

    • ½ cup honey

    • ¼ cup brown rice syrup (found at health food store)

    • 2½ cups brown rice cereal (found at health food stores, or any of your favorite crunchy cereal)

    • ½ cup oats

    • 1-2 tablespoons chia seeds

    • optional: 1 cup finely shredded coconut

  • Methods / Steps

    Mix all of the ingredients together except for the coconut. Roll the mixture
    into balls and then roll in the coconut.

    Or, if omitting the coconut, press mixture into an 8x8” pan.

    Let them sit until soft, about 1 hour.
