Almond Mylk Recipe

This recipe is easy-peasy, nutritious and loaded with more bio-available calcium than found in dairy. It tastes great as is or blend in a ripe banana, fresh or frozen for a milkshake experience!

  • Ingredients
    • 4 cups pure water
    • 1 cup raw almonds
    • Pinch of celtic sea salt
    • 1/4 cup honey or agave nectar (optional)
  • Methods / Steps
    1. Blend ingredients in a high speed blender.
    2. STRAIN through a nut milk bag (from a health food store or a brand new, clean paint thinner nylon mesh strainer bag, from a hardware store) by squeezing out the liquid.
    3. Refrigerate the Almond Milk and use the pulp for Rawberry Shortcake with Lemon-Lime Filling.
