Most pet owners treat their furry friends as another member of the family, so it comes as no surprise that we're willing to try just about anything to helping our four-legged friends when illness strikes. Spot's Story

As a kitten, Spot was full of life. As he aged, he became sickly, plagued with digestive problems, skin irritations, excessive shedding and bad odor. Andi tried giving Spot the "premium" food his vet recommended, but it seemed to make things worse. Reading labels and finding foods full of ingredients with little nutritional value (like corn, wheat, rice, and meat byproducts) or ingredients that pose a potential health hazard (like ethoxyquin, BHT, and BHA), Andi decided to cook Spot his own food. What she came up with was an all-natural stew made with chicken and vegetables - the basis for Halo's signature product Spot's Stew - and gradually, Spot returned to his radiant, healthy self.
