Bottom Line: 

I was first introduced to glass straws from a friend of mine a couple of years ago but they broke and I never replaced them. So when I heard of Glass Dharma straws I immediately asked them to send us some samples. To put it simply: my kids are straw-aholics. They will find EVERY excuse in the book to use a straw. "I need it because my soup is hot and I want to blow bubbles into it to cool it off", or "I don't want my lips to touch the liquid because it's too cold", or "I just want to use one because it's more fun to drink from a straw".

My biggest issue was the impact that plastic straws have on the enviroment. I knew the plastic straws we were using would sit in the landfill for centuries. I felt horrible everytime they would pull one out so I starting hiding them and only allowing them use one when we were on-the-go. 

So you can imagine how excited I was to receive the Glass Dharma straws. I opened them the minute I received them and put them to work and haven't stopped since. They come in different sizes and are fun to use.

We were sent the smoothie straw, the sipper, the ice tea and some angled straws. My favorite is the angled straw as I use it daily to drink my Kombucha. A few of the sippers have decorations which helped us determine who-was-drinking-what. 

Each straw comes with its own cleaning brush so they are hassle-free and easy to clean.

The best part about Glass Dharma straws is that they come with a lifetime warranty (genius) so you don't have to be afraid to use them (just be mindful when handling them to wash them and put them away). I keep mine in the rack next to my sink so I can easily access them and they are kept safe from wandering little fingers.

I believe these straws make a great gift, especially for those with kids. I highly recommend them.
