Aptos, CA - August, 2011 – Newman’s Own® Organics introduces Ginger Snaps and Oatmeal
Chocolate Chip to its newly named “Family Recipe Cookies.”
“We’re delighted with the two new great tasting cookies,” says Nell Newman, co-founder and president of Newman’s Own Organics. “Ginger Snaps are mentioned often as a flavor our fans would like to see us make. The Snaps are made with real candied ginger and are particularly tasty. We also heard from our customers that an oatmeal chocolate chip would be a good addition. It was an excellent suggestion and the recipes are vegan friendly.”
This line with its attractive, eye-catching new look will include the already popular Chocolate Chip, Orange Chocolate Chip and Double Chocolate Chip cookies. The Ginger Snaps (6.5 oz.) and Oatmeal Chocolate Chip (7 oz.), like the other “Family Recipe Cookies,” have a suggested retail price of $3.49.
