A: While limiting an infants' exposure to chemicals by choosing organic foods is highly recommended, your baby's eczema is likely caused by an ingredient that is not digested effectively. If your baby is being breast-fed, the problem may be something that you are eating. Common causes include dairy products or soy, the main ingredients in baby formulas. Electro-dermal testing for allergies can help identify food, and even environmental, substances that your infant is either sensitive or allergic to.
