Naturally Savvy caught up with celebrity guests at the fashion house BCBG Maxazria's store on Rodeo Drive Beverly Hills for an evening of fashion and philanthropy hosted by Daniella Peters, Actress CSI Miami's Sofia Milos and Emmy Award winning stylist Birgit Muller. Guests were treated to a showcase of the clothing brand's holiday collection by Muller with proceeds from the evening's sales being donated by BCBG Maxazria to the Rally for Kids with Cancer Foundation chaired by Eva Longoria Parker. (Stars from TV and film came out to see the new collection while showing their support for the incredible cause).

The beautiful Sofia Milos was kind enough to take the time to give us her two-cents on green living and charity.

Naturally Savvy Question: What do you do on a daily basis to help preserve the planet?

Sofia Milos:There are things we can do without even going out of our way to help. Examples include: turning out the lights when you don't need them, taking quick showers, and not letting the water run for too long before getting in it, and turning off the water while brushing your teeth. There are many ways we can help save – not only the planet but on our bills as well – by just following those examples. Another great one it to RECYCLE! It’s simple.

Naturally Savvy Question:Can you share some tips you have for parents who want to keep their kids active and get them off the couch?

Sofia Milos: I would recommend starting by turning off the television. Give them some games to play with and play with them if you can. Kids don't really want television. It’s just a lame and lazy excuse. Parents need to play with their kids and show them how to be part of life by actually living their game.

Naturally Savvy Question:What does it mean to you to be part of BCBG’s ‘Rally For Kids With Cancer’?

Sofia Milos: The charity helps kids with cancer. Of course the ultimate goal is to cure it, but in the meantime it is helping the families in different ways. Whether it be psychologically, emotionally, or physically, rights with the hospital, continuing education, and anything else that pertains to helping these families who have to suffer through this disease.

I have been greatly inspired and attracted to this event since the rally in Miami with Eva [Longoria], but to be honest, these kids are inspiring me – I admire their strength and how responsible they are. I think it's extremely important to do everything we can to fight this disease.

Naturally Savvy Question: Thanks Sofia!
