Earth Day is coming up on April 22nd. And though the super green cosmetics brands I use and work with think about the earth every single day, this time of year lots of them are offering some really great deals on their wonderful (and season appropriate) products.

One of them is Lavera. As you know, Lavera is a favorite of mine…I wouldn’t be without their Calendula Balancing Cream or Self Tanner, and Lavera mascaras are the absolute best. Which reminds me, I have sampled the new Lavera mascaras and will fill you in next week.

As I said before, out of all the mascaras I have tried (and they have been many) I keep coming back to Lavera Volume Mascara in black as my top pick. It is a very smooth consistency, never any clumping, with a pure rich black color. And since it is not at all cakey you can go for a touch of color or layer it on. Love this stuff!

Everyone needs a great black eyeliner pencil and Lavera Eyeliner is perfect. It is a muted black that goes on smooth but stays put. No pulling or smudging. And black eyeliner is not just for night time looks. You may be surprised how a touch on the upper lash line opens up eyes and makes you look more polished and awake. If I look “undone” a quick swipe of this really adds that finished look.

Mmmmm, Lavera Lip Gloss. This is another beauty bag staple. Goes on smooth, keeps lips soft and hydrated, and isn’t sticky. And the natural mineral pigments add just the right amount of color.
