Organic Cosmetics Review -- Artisan Naturals

As promised, I am sharing with you reviews of at least one product or brand each week. Trying new products is definitely one of the perks of being a beauty writer and I am happy to fill you in.

Today’s products come from Artisan Naturals. This organic skincare brand is completely free from harmful chemicals and use organic ingredients whenever possible. Artisan Naturals also source ingredients from “small indigenous farms that practice sustainability and wild-crafting but simply cannot afford organic certification”.

Artisan Naturals creates skincare for all skin types: Normal/Dry, Oily/Acne, Mature/Age Defense, and a universal line for All Skin Types. The products I am using are from the Normal/Dry line which include calming ingredients – like Chamomile, Lavender, and Rose flower oils – so they are also suitable for sensitive skin.

Calming Crème Cleanser    First off let me say that a cream cleanser is not only for winter or very dry skin. While my skin does tend toward dry, I have noticed that even in hot, humid summer months a creamy cleanser works best for removing makeup, dirt, and oil. Oil binds to makeup, dirt, and oil and removes them without stripping the skin. I highly recommend a cream cleanser for night time cleansing, followed by toner (if you prefer one) and a lighter moisturizer. Remember: over-cleansing is one of the most common mistakes in a skin care regimen, resulting in redness, irritation, and breakouts.

Ok, back to the product. Calming Crème Cleanser with Lavender and Chamomile is soft, soothing and works very well on my normal to dryish, sensitive skin. And I have been using it every night. This creamy cleanser is very light and leaves skin feeling fresh and supple, ....
