How is your spring going? While it is so wonderful to get outside, smell the fresh air, and see blooms and green…spring can have its pitfalls. Don’t get me wrong – we love it and are enjoying it – but our spring has brought some upheaval to our home front.
It seems that you hibernate all winter long and then, Ta da!, you are thrust into springtime activities with a vengeance. It can leave you exhausted and cranky, and…stuck.

Another way to deal with stress and imbalance is aromatherapy, and I have broken some out recently. We have always used Aromatherapy Personals, but I recently had the opportunity to try out a new brand. 21 Drops.

But how, exactly, does aromatherapy help us?
Aromatic molecules from the essential oils are carried through the nasal cavity via olfactory nerves to the limbic system in the brain. The limbic system influences the endocrine system and the autonomic nervous system.
The endocrine system is a network of glands that produce hormones which regulate our mood, metabolism, growth, and development.
