DIY: Recycled Banner for Kids or a Backyard Party

Maybe it's just me, but it seems those hanging banners—you know, the ones with the inverted triangles strung from post to post or around a room (also seen at used car dealerships)—are trendy once again for kids' playrooms and parties. Sure you can buy a designer garland, but why not make your own by upcycling magazines, paper bags and other paper products?

As I made this one it sort of hit me that this isn't just for kids. DIY banners can be a pretty decoration for a casual backyard dinner party with friends.
