Most natural products can be bought at health food stores across the country. Natural product retailers range from small independent stores, to larger chains such as Whole Foods Market (as well as the former Wild Oats) and Trader Joe's. According to a 2005 Market Overview by the Natural Foods Merchandiser, there are approximately 35,000 natural health food and specialty stores across the United States.
Many grocery and club stores carry natural products as well. Ask your local grocer if they have a specific section where their natural products are displayed or if they are integrated onto their shelves with their conventional products. Some of the larger chain stores such as Safeway, have even created their own private label brands of natural and organic products to choose from.
If you are looking for a specific product but cannot find it at your local retailer, phone the company directly, or visit their website. Many of them also sell their products online.
Check out your local farmer's market. Ask them if they sell natural and/or organic produce or meat.
