The Game You Came Here to Play
- Wednesday, 12 August 2009
We are all divine children of God disguised as humans. Be easy on yourself.
You came to play the "What does it feel like to think that you are imperfect and spend the rest of your life remembering that your magnificence?" game. It's just a game.
You really are infinite. Or did you forget?
Just look around yourself for a moment.
Take it in, your life. This is it. It's a canvas waiting to be painted on with the creative brush strokes of your inspired purpose. You get to say how it goes—while life points the way of the most abundant beauty.
How will you know which way? Well, it will feel "right."
Often when we take action, it may not feel great, yet it does feel like the best course. It feels right, no matter how irrational or even sub-optimal it may appear.
Remembering your Magnificent Self is like that. Self-judgment or listening to the judgment of others is unproductive. The call of your heart (like the Universe's megaphone) is always the most magnificent course.
Sometimes your direction will not make sense to others. To wake up to who your magnificence is to understand another's perspective—and still honor the voice of your heart!
Use the opinion of others to discern what calls you forward. That's the blessing of having those who care.
