Isn't it great when you wake up and you're excited to be alive? It's such a huge contrast to those days when you are worried or afraid of what might happen.
What if all of our actions were inspired by possibility versus fear?
Sometimes my clients ask me how I differentiate between intuition and irrational fears. My answer?
• Intuition inspires you toward a direction that brings your heart peace.
• Fear pushes you away from going in a direction without much of an idea about what you are headed toward.
Fear can be manufactured simply by inventing a story about the future that is not real—and then acting like it is real.
Interesting that out of the millions of stories we could invent, we would invent a scary one. If we are going to invent stories anyhow, we might as well invent one that feels good. It takes just as much effort, it's more likely to be true, and even if it isn't, you'll feel better.
If you are afraid that something might happen, ask yourself this:
Is that potentiality "the truth" or "a truth"?
If the answer is "a truth," guess what? Time to take it far far less seriously and move on to the mental place of most productivity: the present moment.
