Are You In the Flow? Or Stopping It?

beach_ballLast night I was at a concert, and in the middle of the concert they let go big yellow balloons with the logo of the event.

It was a ball (literally) volleying these balloons amongst tens of thousands of people, just watching the balls fly around and touch everyone, letting the energy take each ball to the next player. Fun!! Such an amazing flow.

Then some people got the idea to keep the balls.

As soon as someone called the balls "theirs," the energy flow stopped. It was a competition to see who could get their token of the evening, as though the balloons themselves would bring back the thousands of people, incredible music, and fun. The balls would soon be deflated and likely thrown out in a couple of days.

When we hold tightly to things because we're afraid that they'll never come again or they won't stay, we create a slowing of the cosmic flow. By allowing things to freely float, we leave room for the miraculous.

Joy is always in the present. Our fear tries to keep everything static, but the Universe is fluid—like a balloon game.

Let it go. If it comes back, yipppeeeee! And if it doesn't, assume better is coming!! You maybe just don't see it yet!
