Feeling the burn

oh yay Insanity is still insane!! Going to be feeling this workout tomorrow…

We sure missed Shaun T

We did not know what dvd to do this morning. We are NOT doing the whole 60 day program again (although reading Janetha’s post sometimes makes us think twice), but we ended up picking the first dvd to do as our workout today – Plyometric Cardio Circuit.

It was killer. Just like we remembered.  We felt better this time around (although still sore from our workouts this past week). Honestly we could not really tell if we “improved” since last time because we did not record our reps for each exercise the first time around to compare to this time around (like we do with bodyrock). Overall we felt stronger, although we did take breaks when needed!! It was still a challenge for us! We were sweating like crazy.

Did we like this Insanity circuit more or less 2nd time doing it? Yes and no.

Yes- it was nice because we briefly remembered the exercises so we could push hard and it was still challenging. We also liked how the dvd is really good about warming up and cooling down, something we are not always the best at.

No- because we forgot what it was like to do long workouts, so our bodies were exhausted by the end. It almost was more of a mental challenge to realize that we had to workout for about 40 minutes as we are used to just 10-20 minutes.

We have always discussed wanting to add insanity into our daily workouts, at random times, basically whenever we are looking for something....
