

Q: Can you suggest some foods that contain manganese? Thank you!
A: The mineral, manganese, is found in many wonderful and easily available foods like pineapple, brown rice and other whole grains, beans, spinach and other dark leafy greens, and nuts and seeds. Soft drinks and other processed foods can reduce manganese levels, sometimes indicating by a ‘clicking’ of the joints (for example, knees crack when you bend down).
