Sustainable Living Having just been named a UN spokesperson for peace, George Clooney thrilled United Nations employees who had their pictures taken with him; however some UN member nations were less than pleased with his opinion on Darfur.

Apparently George is shaking it up as both Russia and France were resistant to his charms. According to his own admission, George said, “There are groups that don’t feel that I necessarily class up the joint and don’t feel that I should be speaking to them.”

It seems that while some powerbrokers don’t appreciate the star power that Clooney has to offer, brands like Omega Watches benefit greatly from their association.
