What Channel Are You Watching?
- Thursday, 31 March 2011
Whenever things come to my attention in bunches I try to pay attention. I’m not especially psychic but a psychic friend tells me thatI’m a “seer.” I have no idea if it’s actually true or not but for me that simply means that I pay attention to “signs and wonders,” a cigar is rarely a cigar, and I listen to the dreams that want to be heard! So today’s word that I’ve been hearing from different sources is “open channel.”
I have a friend who is sensitive and is an open channel. She “picks up” on things, feels things deeply and started to notice that she’s getting flashes of clairvoyance. She has gone beyond being intuitive to seeing what will happen before it happens. Her worry is by seeing it before it happens, she will somehow contribute to its manifestation.
A student of mine wonders how she can manifest abundance, yet she is a clear and open channel with talents in abundance that flow through her and she gets very precise answers and guidance through her dreams.
A Facebook friend is learning about various methods of healing and we had a chat about Reiki. I tell her that as a Reiki Master, I know that no matter how effective any healing modality is — Reiki included — we cannot possibly know what is in store for the soul who shows up for healing. I tell her we just need to open our heart, be an open channel, and “let ‘er rip” without attachment to the outcome.
So my question to you is what channel are you watching and is it an “open channel?” What source of opinion, guidance or energy do you let in to your field of awareness? Do you trust your guidance; your intuition? Do you open your heart daily and let good vibes flow, including compassion towards self, then others? We are in shifting times, and many of you are waking up while others are choosing to live in fear and darkness, poverty mentality or lack of trust. (If you have found your way to this blog post, you are likely in the awakening group! Otherwise you would have clicked out of here by now!)
When you get up in the morning, spend a few minutes on your inner self. That can take the form of exercise, meditation and mindfulness, writing and so on, but by doing this you are recalibrating your “iGPS;” your sense of who you are and where “home” is for your soul. From that place of clarity and groundedness that comes from within, you can be sure that the guidance you channel is your own highest and best energies. Then, when the creativity flows, when the messages come more frequently, when the dream turns into clearly focused direction, you will know what is worth paying attention to and what is just brain static. May all your inner channel surfing lead you along the perfect path for you!
